Visit to the historic Quaker site at Shallowford

Stone Quakers met in unusual surroundings on 1st July 2011, when they were invited to worship in an historic Quaker Farmhouse in Staffordshire. The present owners are very interested in the history of the property and have managed to acquire the field opposite which contains a Quaker burial ground, last used in the 19th century. Afterwards, we were able to picnic in the magnificent garden behind the farmhouse. The visit was organized by Jane of Stafford Meeting, who also attended with two of her sons.
