Submit an article or event

Events

The News and Events page is where we advertise events held by Staffordshire Area Meeting and any of its Local Meetings. In addition we may also share external events which are of interest to our members and attenders. We reserve the right to refuse to publicise any event which we feel is not relevant to our members and attenders or any event which is contrary to our values of peace, equality, simplicity and truth.

If you would like to advertise your event on our website please email debs.zebrafish@gmail.com

You will need to include:

  • Name of event
  • Date and time of event
  • Location of event or who to contact for video link
  • Who can attend the event and any booking instruction if relevant. For example is the event open to the general public or members and attenders of Staffordshire Area Meeting only?
  • If it is not a Staffordshire Area Meeting event who is organising it? Please include a link to their website or social media
  • Attach any files that can be included with the listing, for example a poster, image or logo.

Articles

Articles should be submitted to the editors of the Staffordshire Quaker Newsletter for inclusion in the next issue.

Space in the newsletter is limited so once the article is published, if you wish, you can submit additional text and images to debs.zebrafish@gmail.com to be published as a supplement to the newsletter.

Staffordshire Quaker Newsletter

The Staffordshire Quaker is the newsletter of Staffordshire Area Meeting. As well as news of people and events from around the meetings of the region it contains a mix of personal viewpoints, poetry, stories and pictures submitted by readers. It is a place where Quakers from around the region can freely report their experiences and express their views.
